Dates

Just talked to Brook from Atlanta. We'll have dates tomorrow. They may not be permenent it's all depends on the donors. If everything works out Lonnie will start camo on Aug. 16 and the transplant on the 25th. Let's pray that the donor will go along with these dates.

Finally heard from Atlanta. Sometime the week of the 12th of July, we'll be going down for Lonnie's tests and talk to the doctor. We'll just be down there for the day. I'll be checking out the hotels while we're down there. Brooke (case worker) didn't say anything about the donors, but they must of decided on one. other wise we won't be going down. Will keep everyone informed. Thank you for all of your prayers and concerns..

How in the world did I forget the best part of the weekend? Saturday we went to see Philip in Charleston. That was a nice visit with him. He is such a good looking young man and smart too. All he needs to do is get off his lazy butt and go get a job. His life would be so different. He showed us around Charleston and then had lunch. I really didn't think he wanted us to leave. I really hated to leave. But he's grown up and has to do what he needs to do. I was proud of Lonnie for not nagging him. I know it was hard for Lonnie to do that, but he did. We love you son...forever

Weekend June 26,2010

Lonnie started his shut down this weekend. The weekend was pretty light, didn't do much. Sunday we went riding with Kelli. Went to Lake Jocassie it was a very hot day. Other than that is was a nice ride. Lonnie's been working around the house. I'm off til thursday. Our friends from Thomasville will be here thursday. I have to work all weekend. He'll take them to Lake Jocassie on friday. And maybe to downtown Greenville on saturday. All in all he's doing ok. I see that sometime he looks tired. Thank you again for all your prayers. One more thing before I go. I just wanted to thank Vicki and Emily for being so patience with me taking alot of time off. I owe Vicki alot. THANK YOU VICKI...and you too Emily for being so smart and so nice and a good person. I also want to thank my boss, Cheryl, who has been so understanding and for listening to me when I need to vent. Love you all.

Well, we've heard from Atlanta. Just that they are getting the results from the donors. They'll be reviewing them with Dr. Holland and they'll decide which one is the best for Lonnie. Still more waiting, but shouldn't be to much longer.Lonnie's has had 3 good weeks. He's starting to get a little tired. Thank goodness the plant will be shutting down for 2 weeks starting Saturday. A friend of Lonnie's will be coming up the 4th of July weekend. Her and a friend will be here Thursday and leave Sunday. He's really looking forward to visit with her. I have to work but I'll be able spend sometime with them on Saturday if work is good.This weekend we'll be going to Charleston on Saturday to spend the day and spend some time with Philip. I'll be off for 5 days starting Saturday...yeeaaaah!!! As some of you know, I've been having food allergies problem for a couple of years and don't know what they are. They've been worse lately and I'm going to a new Dr. on Monday. Please pray that we find out what it is. I don't need this right now. I have to be strong for Lonnie...

June 14th

Nothing new to report. Lonnie had a good weekend. Worked out in the yard and relaxed. We talk alot about what we're going to do in the future. One of the things that he wants to do is go to Mexico Beach, Fl. I've never heard of it and don't know where it is. I told him on his 1 year anniversary for his transplant, we'll go there. So now he has something to look forward too.

June 10

Just wanted to let everyone know that it should be the end of July when we find out alot of things. Like the donor's, Lonnie's appointment in Atl. for his tests and labs. And maybe when we should be going to Atl. Lonnie's been feeling pretty good this week. Our next appointment is the first week of July. Lonnie's friend, Linda, will be coming to visit in July. Hopefully she'll plan it the first part...

Went to lunch with Lonnie's mom and brother, Phil. Had a good lunch. Ate like pigs... Went and had blood drawn. Numbers were on the border line. The Dr. decided not to do the blood transfusion. We'll go see her next month. Lonnie was very tired, very...He looked awfully pale and his face looked thin. He said his weight was the same. His symptoms looks different...

I want to thank my daughter, Carolynn for listening to me tonight as I break down. She was a big help to me... I love her dearly.

I know this blog is about Lonnie, but it's about me too. I really, really hate this. I'm worried to death about him. I have hives and no telling where they come from. Could be something that I eat or stress, or both. I'm not good at this, but I will give it my all. I love Lonnie alot and don't won't to see him suffering. But I'm suffering too. Please pray for us both

Had good weekend. Rained alot but that was ok with us. Lonnie hasn't been feeling very well this week. We'll go to the doctor tomorrow and we'll find out what the count is. He might need another transfusion. I hope so, I hate seeing him like this.

Memorial Weekend

I can't believe that we went through this weekend with no pictures. Lonnie and I had a good weekend . On Monday we went to his mom's, Betty, to repot a plant for her. Then we went to Kelli's. She made all our favorites. We really had a good time. But no pictures! I told Kelli to get her camera out but I didn't see any flashes going on...It was fun. She has some good friends. We'll have to have a bbq over here real soon...I talked to Madison for a while. I like that kid. She's pretty cool. When Lonnie and I got home we were both wiped out. He went to bed at 8 and I went to bed at 9:30...It was my birthday too on top of it all.
